Ph.D. Wojciech Piotrowski

Mr Wojciech Piotrowski received his MSc Eng. in Materials Engineering from the Wrocław University of Science and Technology in 2019 and ph.d. in physics in the Biomedical Phisicochemistry Department at the Institute of Low Temperature and Structural Research, Polish Academy of Sciences in 2024. His research is focused on synthesis of nano-/micro-crystalline phosphors doped with lanthanide and transition metal ions, in particular manganese and chromium ions and looking for relations between structural and luminescent properties. His research interests include luminescent thermometry and its wide range of applications.
